Three of the country's most popular celebrities will be named National Peace Ambassadors during the launch of the “I am for Peace” campaign in Malaca,cheap supra shoes?an Palace, Manila today.
They are apl.de.ap of Black Eyed Peas, top endorser Anne Curtis and actor Gerald Anderson.
In a statement, Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Teresita Quintos Deles said that "coming from diverse industries and backgrounds, the Peace Ambassadors will unite for one meaningful cause: peace.”
Deles also said joining them in saying “I am for Peace” will be no less than President Benigno Simeon Aquino III who will lead the campaign launch.”
The “I am for Peace” campaign is one of the major activities the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) has lined up in this year’s celebration of the peace month with the theme “Ako. Ikaw. Tayo. Magkakaiba,supra shoes kids, Nagkakaisa sa Kapayapaan.”
Deles said the “National Peace Ambassadors” also include local celebrities Megan Young and Mikael Daez; social media icon Ramon Bautista; composers Noel Cabangon and Ebe Dancel; Moro artist Datu Khomeini Bansuan; singers Christian Bautista, Karylle, Sam Concepcion, and Gloc-9; fashion designers Arnold Galang and the Fashion Design Council of the Philippines led by JC Buendia,supra skytop black; comedians Kiray and Igi Boy; sportsman and TV host Rovilson Fernandez; and members of the national football team, Philippine Azkals.
Meanwhile, member of the Grammy-award winning group Black Eyed Peas and proud Pinoy apl.de.ap expressed his support to peace, saying “Peace means progress and happiness."
"Its influence is powerful. Right now,justin bieber supra, the Philippines is emerging. I feel it every day, and with peace nationwide, we can take our country to new heights we can all be proud of,” said apl.de.ap.
“I choose peace, I want peace – I am for peace!” will be declared by the celebrities as they take their pledge as National Peace Ambassadors in Malaca?an.
Gerald Anderson, one of the country’s most sought after young actors, invited more Filipinos to join the cause, saying “Peace is what our country needs, what the world needs."
