The activity was aimed to give education on the priority regions of Maternal and Child Well being interventions including antenatal registration, high-risk carrying a child, labor and delivery as well as newborn screening, breastfeeding, maternal dna and child nutrition plus family planning.
Municipal Wellness Officer Dr. Arlene Arcilla said the adventure was also conducted to introduce the skills offered by the Rural Overall health Unit, specifically the Basic Emergency Obstetric and New-born Care facility.
