The office of the Department from the Interior and Local Government (DILG) listed here held a focus group dialogue (FGD) on the Systems on Expertise Assessment for Local Government authorities (Scalog), a complimentary tool for the Community Governance Performance Management Procedure (LGPMS).
The new assessment tool aspires to assess the organizational abilities of a local government unit (LGU) so that you can render and sustain an increased performance in delivering the usual services to the community. The idea evaluates seven organizational abilities, namely: organizational staffing; intention support and other enabling elements; transparency; management system; involvement; continuous improvement or improvements and customer service.
Elsie Castillo,LeBron 10, city city operations officer, said Scalog is actually gradually being implemented throughout LGUs for possible inclusion plus integration in the criteria to the Seal for Good Housekeeping (SGH),Nike LeBron 10.
Leads and representatives of the different departments under the city administration participated in the FGD held within the Sangguniang Panglungsod Session Hall. The members were also oriented within the conduct of Scalog and its significance as an assessment tool for LGUs.
In the course of the assessment, an information capture form (DCF) will be presented to the respondents or locations to be filled up beforehand,LeBron X. That covers 14 service area instruments and divided into a few parts: organizational competency; your LGU's strengths and weaknesses, and details or explanation on some waste the instrument.
The answerers will discuss their answers jointly whether the competency indicator is present in the LGU or not during an FGD in Scalog while the facilitator records the actual responses and later determines the particular competency rating of the LGU.
