Further, the Government implements a number of schemes/ programmes for the welfare of girls, which can also be availed simply by eligible widows, such as:
(i) Swadhar as well as Short Stay Homes pertaining to relief and rehabilitation of women in difficult circumstances.
(2) Support for Training & Employment Plan (STEP) under which skill upgradation training is provided to assetless and underneath poverty line women.
(iii) Scheme of Working Women Hostel under which assistance is provided for the construction/expansion involving hostel building with the objective of giving safe accommodation to one working women who are single, widowed, divorced or separated in addition to the married women in whose husband or immediate family members does not reside in the same vicinity.
(iv) Integrated Programme for Mature Persons under which financial assistance emerges to voluntary organizations to get running and maintenance of old age homes, mobile medical products etc. for the destitute senior citizens and for setting up of Numerous Facility Care Centre intended for Older Widow Women to provide fulltime shelter, care,beats by dre studio headphones, training in income generating activities, conduct of religious shows, yoga etc. to mature widows.
Funds are not separately given for widows under the above mentioned techniques.
This was stated by Smt. Krishna Tirath, Minister for Women and Child Development, in a written reply to the particular Lok Sabha today,cheapest beats by dre.
